It’s the 2nd anniversary, by the common calendar. Am just feeling numb, and unwilling to distract myself with any entertainment, sort of like a fast day.

Adrian Daulby and Melvin Cravitz were buried yesterday. They’re the two killed on Yom Kippur in Manchester.

I don’t know if the planned protests went ahead. I assume they did. The way Hamas’ actions have been erased or excused is frightening. So many are caught up in their own emotions and refuse to see anything other than blaming the Jewish state, and so often with words taken either from old antisemitic or Islamist rhetoric.

I don’t know of any Jew who isn’t depleted and exhausted, but why should anyone care about us. It’s like we’re not really people to them, just props in their story.

Amen. I see a lot of people happy and hopeful at the latest news, and I am very happy for them. I can’t be anything but extremely pessimistic and worryful. But I do hope to be proven wrong.
